Anne’s family roots in Maryland reach back into colonial days! She grew up on the Eastern Shore, and has enjoyed sailing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay since she was a young girl. Anne lived in Washington, DC for many years, working in hospitality sales and marketing before moving to Annapolis in 1992. Anne was also a district sales manager for a major cruise line. With many years of success in sales, marketing and customer service, real estate was a natural fit. She received her license in 2004 and has since built a strong following of repeat customers, specializing in downtown Annapolis and Eastport, as well as waterfront properties.

Anne is also actively involved in many community programs. She is one of the founders of The Box of Rain Foundation, and continues to run this non-profit organization that works year-round with local disadvantaged youth to introduce them to maritime activities such as sailing, boating, kayaking, fishing, environmental studies and boatbuilding. Box of Rain was founded in 2003 and has served more than 200 local youth, most who live in Annapolis public housing neighborhoods. Anne has also organized several Leukemia/Lymphomia Society of Maryland events, and co-chaired the 2001 Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championship regatta held in Annapolis. Anne lives in Eastport with her husband Willie, two boisterous pugs, and an orange tabby cat named Tommy, and enjoys spending time on their 30' Downeast Express Cruiser "Josephine."
